6 months of blessing

Ellie turned 6 months this week. I can't believe she's already 1/2 a year old! It seems like time has flown by so quickly, yet when I recall those crazy weeks before Ellie's birth (preparing to sell the condo, selling the condo, frantically trying to find a new house, buying a house, packing the condo, moving, etc), that all seems so long ago. All that to say, life with a newborn leaves you barely awake, but rarely asleep!

Ellie recently decided to wean herself off of her late night feeding. For months, she had guzzled her late night bottle while fully asleep, but one night she only drank 2 oz, the next 1 oz. Dave and I both tried feeding her more, but she just smiled and refused to eat anymore. This means that once in bed (7:30 - 8 PM), she's not up until about 12 hours later! To those out there with newborns, there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Height - 27 inches (90th percentile)
Weight - 16lb 7 oz (70th percentile)
Head - 17 inches (70th percentile).
