Although I had the best intentions to spend tons of time helping them clean, cook, etc, it was much harder to get stuff done than I had anticipated. For some reason, she had just decided to start a "clingy" phase right before our trip up north to serve my sister.
Several days before our trip, Ellie had begun taking a couple steps on her own. During our trip, Nate helped her walk around tier livingroom several times and she really got the hang of putting one foot in front of the other. By the time we left, Ellie was taking 6-8 steps on her own and poor Dave missed out on a lot of the fun.
